 Transportation Department Supervisor: Regina Mattson E-mail: rmattson@wcs.k12.oh.us 901 South Pennsylvania Avenue 740-384-5167 Hours 6:00 am - 5:00 pm SCHOOL CLOSING INFORMATION On mornings when we have snow, ice, or other school emergencies which makes it hazardous for our students to attend school. Please check school closing status by tuning to Radio Stations WKOV-FM 96.7 (Jackson), WKKJ-FM 94.3 (Chillicothe). Television Channels that you can also check are WOWK Channel l3, Charleston-Huntington, WSAZ Channel 3 Huntington-Charleston. WSAZ also offers a severe weather alert system that gives you severe weather watches and warnings as quickly as the National Weather Service issues them. This is a free service available to all students, faculty, staff and parents. To sign up for this free service, go to WWW.WSAZ.COM and click on the First Warning Weather Personal Forecast link. You may also check our school website, www.wcs.k12.oh.us, for school closing information. BUS DISCIPLINE Occasionally concerns and disciplinary issues arise on our buses. View bus rules and disciplinary guidelines to help your student learn safe school bus behaviors. My door is open to the parents and students of the Wellston City School District. Please feel free to use me as your first line of communication in the transportation department. My hours are 6:00 am - 10:00 am and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
