Parent Mentor Project The Parent Mentor Project is a program funded through the Ohio Dept. of Education. This program is designed to support families in understanding the special education process by providing the information needed to become effective partners for their children with special education needs. The mentor focuses on working with parents and school personnel to develop plans that maximize the learning process for each individual child. She can help in a variety of ways that include:
